What are the times used for the dual hourly rate system?

Dual hourly rate

To benefit from the advantages of the dual hourly rate, it is important to stick to the specific time slots. A dual hourly rate meter is used to distinguish between two rates for electricity:

  • a slightly higher rate than the single rate during the daytime
  • a more advantageous rate than the single rate during the night (from 10.00 pm to 7.00 am), at the weekend as well as during public holidays.
