What should I do if my photovoltaic installation regularly disconnects from the network?

A small photovoltaic generation installation (≤ 10 kVA) may automatically disconnect from the network.
These automatic disconnections occur when the voltage or the frequency at the attachment clamps on the converter reach values that are too low or too high.

There may be several reasons for this:

  • generation is not optimally distributed between the various phases;
  • stricter converter parameters than the approved limits;
  • excessive losses in the cable between the converter and the meter;
  • excessive losses in the connection cable;
  • and much more.

To help the makers and fitters of photovoltaic panels resolve or prevent this type of problem, SYNERGRID has just published a specific and detailed recommendation. Do not hesitate to consult it!

At the start of 2009 I had photovoltaic panels fitted on my roof. Thanks to the grants and the green power certificates, I have already recouped the investment!
